Billy (Bill Jr.) Gene Potts (June 2, 1953 – January 5, 2022
Bill passed away at his home on Wednesday January 5th near Kersey Colorado. Bill was born in Cambridge, Nebraska on June 2, 1953, to William (Bill Sr) and Shirley Potts.
Bill spent his early years in Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa before moving to Colorado. Bill spent much of his life as an auto-mechanic, home repair and later as a local truck driver. He had a great compassion for animals especially his cats who he considered part of his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Shirley Potts, sisters, Diane Nash and Linda Mustion, brother-in-laws Larry Brew and Wesley Nash.
Bill is survived by sisters, Kay Brew of Austin, Texas, Judy (Randy) Ekx of Kersey, Colorado, Cindy Schluckebier, of Bartley, Nebraska; brother Walter (Judy) Potts of Stillwater, Minnesota and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name can be given to Powell Veterinary Service animal assistance fund at 25505 County road 53 Kersey, CO 80644 970-352-9164
