Mr. Robert Bruce Shreck, of Greeley, Colorado, born on August 6th, 1939 in Blackwell, Oklahoma returned to his heavenly home on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the age of 78.
Bob loved spending time with family and friends. He loved to camp, fish, and travel to Oklahoma and Texas to visit family. He was a member of the Greeley/Evans Moose Family Center Lodge #909 in Evans. Bob held multiple chairs during his time as an active Moose Lodge Member- He was a governor three times and was a Moose Legionnaire. Bob was a Mooseheart Appointment as Deputy Director of Conservation for 2 years for the State of Colorado Moose Association. Before his illness, he spent numerous hours volunteering. He enjoyed giving back.
Bob is survived by his son, R. Brent Shreck of Midwest City, Oklahoma; daughter, Lisa LeAnn Saldivar, husband Adam, of Plano, Texas; step-daughter Erin Greiner of Greeley, Colorado; his two sisters Carol Johns, husband Merlin, of Purcell, Oklahoma and Peggy Lucas of Blackwell, Oklahoma; his four grandchildren, Jenna and Alec Saldivar of Plano, Texas; Paris Long and Jeremy Hubbard of Greeley, Colorado; and two great-grandchildren Jesse and Joshua Hernandez of Greeley, Colorado.
He is preceded in death by his three brothers John, Chuck, and James Shreck; his parents John W. and Thelma Shreck; grandparents George and Lenora Shreck; and Emmett and Unice Burkhalter.
A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Greeley/Evans Moose Family Center, located at 3456 11th Ave. in Evans.
Donations can be sent in the name of Robert B. Shreck Memorial to the Greeley/Evans Moose Family Center, at the address listed above.
His remains will be scattered in Oklahoma later this year during a family camping and fishing trip. The family is grateful for your condolences and prayers.
