Bob Ray Weidenkeller, 85, of Greeley, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at The Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
He was born in Barnesville, CO on January 14, 1932 to Fred & Mary (Wiederspahn) Weidenkeller. Bob was raised on a family farm in the Greeley area. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a general contractor building with his brothers, Eugene and Ronald and his nephew Bob and built many homes in the Greeley area from the 1950’s until 1995 when he retired.
In February of 1957, he married Dorothy Cimiyotti and they had 3 daughters, Diana, Patti, and Carolyn.
He was a loving husband and father, loved his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren and was a man of deep faith. He will be deeply missed.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Diana Hawkins (Rodney) of Windsor, CO, Patti Fuller (Arlon, Jr) of Pleasanton, TX, Carolyn Heinze (Stanley) of Eaton, CO, his brother Eugene Weidenkeller (Janice), Sister Sandy Weidenkeller, Grandchildren Audra Tweedy (Erik), Landon Hawkins (Courtney), Jesse Fuller (Meikah), Joshua Fuller, Jackie Summers (Justin), Great grandchildren Ethan and Miley Hawkins, McKenna Tweedy, James Summers, and Ian Fuller, and several nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and a brother-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary (Wiederspahn) Weidenkeller, wife Dorothy Weidenkeller, and brothers Doug and Ronald Weidenkeller, his dear special lady Juanita Rucker and Thelma Printz, his second wife.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18th at 1:00 p.m. at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 South 11th Avenue, Evans, CO 80620. All are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the children’s charity of your choice.
