Bonnie Louise Souther, 67, of Eaton passed away in her home with her family at her side on Saturday, December 7, 2013.
Bonnie was born April 3, 1946 in Greeley, Colorado to Glenn & Margaret (McKay) Siegrist. She graduated from Eaton High in 1964 and then married Jack W. Souther on June 12, 1964 in Greeley and they lived northeast of Eaton for all their lives. Jack passed away on December 9, 2012.
Mrs. Souther worked at the Greeley Medical Clinic from 1987-1994 and later worked for the Eaton Bank for several years. With her husband Jack, she owned and operated the pumpkin patch for 19 years. Bonnie loved working in her garden. She had a beautiful smile that was very infectious and Bonnie loved to give.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Doug Souther and his wife Nikkie of Council Bluffs, IA, her daughter, Jackie Brooks of Greeley, her brother, Bill Siegrist and his wife Nona of Denver, her sister, Betty Sitzman and her husband, Bob of Wray, her grandchildren: Kayla Brooks, Garrett Brooks, Elizabeth Brooks, Caden Souther and Colby Souther, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded by her husband, Jack W. Souther, and her parents, Glenn & Margaret Siegrist.
A memorial service to celebrate Bonnie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Evangelical Free Church of Eaton, 1311 3rd Street in Eaton.
