Brian Scott Croissant, age 36, died February 17, 2007, in Greeley, Colorado. Brian was born September 1, 1970, at Boulder, Colorado. As a child, he lived at Berthoud and at Johnstown, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1988. He enjoyed participating on the football, wrestling, and track teams at RHS. He was also active in Weld County 4-H. Brian attended the Colorado School of Mines for two years, and graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. He was a member of the Farmhouse Fraternity. Brian worked on the family farm near Johnstown during his high school and college years, moving with his family to a ranch near Briggsdale to build a herd of Red Angus cattle. Recently he worked as a welder at Kuhn-Knight Manufacturing Co. in Greeley. He enjoyed working with the cattle and riding his horse, JJ. Brian married Michelle Dennis of Brighton on July 17, 1993. They have three children: Cabe Paul, age 10; Rachel Ann, age 9; and Jessica Lane, age 5. Brian loved his family. Brian is survived by his children and ex-wife Michelle, his parents Larry and Jean Croissant, his sister and brother-in-law Sallie and Kevin Miller of Briggsdale, his brother and sister-in-law Andy and Kim Croissant of Cheyenne, a niece and a nephew, his grandmother Viola Croissant of Loveland, and several aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leon Croissant, and Allen and Lillian Lamb. A memorial service for Brian will be held at the Evangelical Free Church of Eaton on Thursday, February 22, at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be at the Briggsdale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. A memorial fund for Brian's children has been established at the Weld Schools Credit Union. They may be sent to the Credit Union or in care of the Moser Funeral Service, 3501 S. 11th Avenue, Evans, Colorado 80620.
