Obituary

Bruce D. Riggle lived a life defined by service, curiosity, and quiet devotion to the people around him.

Joyful, intelligent, and tolerant are some of the words that come to mind when remembering Bruce and the spirit with which he approached life. His military service as an Air Force sergeant reflected a strong sense of discipline and dedication that later guided his academic pursuits and professional life, including earning his doctorate and working independently as a consultant alongside his wife, Linda Wisdom, as small business owners. Above all, it was his love for his family, community, and country that sustained him. Recently, he was a volunteer at the Weld County Food Bank and spoke often about how important it was to understand what others in his community were experiencing.

Bruce will be forever missed as a friend, mentor, neighbor, husband, and father. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his daughters, Lindsey and Regina; and Regina's wife, Nora.

A private interment will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 9:30 am on Friday, March 27, followed by a celebration of life in Fort Collins.

His family invites those who knew him to remember him through acts of kindness, thoughtfulness, and dedication to others — qualities he carried throughout his life.
