Obituary

Bryan Jesse Rogers, 29, of Evans, died on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 as a result of a traffic accident. He was born on August 14, 1977 in Salt Lake City to I.J. and Kari (Hutchings) Rogers. Bryan grew up in Green River, Wyoming. He graduated from Green River High School in 1995 and later attended the University of Wyoming on a music scholarship for 1 year. He served a mission for the LDS church in England at the London South Mission. Upon returning home he went back to the University of Wyoming to continue his education where he met Sara Ostrander. They were married in Laramie on July 24, 1999. His loves were his family, music, reading and hunting with his dad. He was a member of the honorary band fraternity KKY and was a member of and played tenor sax in the Western Thunder Marching Band at U.W.. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was employed by B.J. Services Company in Brighton, Colorado. He and his family have lived in Evans, Colorado for about 2 years. Survivors include his wife Sara Rogers of Evans; his daughter, Shannyn and his son Leodell both of Evans; his parents, I.J. and Kari Rogers of Green River, Wyoming; a sister and her husband, Cortnie and Jericho Morrell of Green River, Wyoming; 3 nephews, Isaac, Caleb and Spencer Morrell of Green River, Wyoming; maternal grandparents, Billie Titmus of Evanston, Wyoming and Gene and Karon Hutchings of Evanston, Wyoming; mother & father in law, James & JoAnne Ostrander of Littleton, Colorado; a brother in law, Jim Ostrander of Golden, Colorado. Those preceding him in death are his fraternal grandparents, Leo & Georgia Rogers and his maternal great grandparents, George & Florence Titmus. He had a smile and a kind word for everyone. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He will truly be missed. A funeral service to celebrate Bryan's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 13, 2006 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2116 23rd Avenue in Greeley. Additional funeral services will be held on Thursday in Green River, Wyoming. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Green River. Private family visitation will be held. Memorial gifts may be made to the Bryan Rogers memorial fund to be used for his children's education. They can be mailed in care of Moser Funeral Service, 3501 S. 11th Avenue, Evans, Colorado 80620.
