Buelah Fern Bear, 89, of Greeley, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Westlake Lodge Health & Rehabilitation.
Buelah was born on January 6, 1934, in Walsh, Colorado to Raymond R. and Sis Marie (Pershall) Platt. She graduated from Bent County High School in Las Animas, Colorado. Buelah made her residence in Greeley since 1957 and worked at the University of Northern Colorado in food service for 32 years.
Buelah was a member of the Greeley First Church of the Nazarene since 1973.
She is survived by her children, Randy Bear of Greeley, CO, Judi Timmons of The Dalles, OR, Pamela Larkin of Greeley, CO, Janelle Stollfus of Eagle, ID; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Cook along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant brother, Harold Platt; sisters, Lois Bryant and Betty Lou Wright
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Greeley First Church of the Nazarene, 2515 W 16th St, Greeley, CO 80634
