Carol Marooney, 57 of Evans passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2010 in Greeley.Carol was born in Freemont, Michigan on February, 17, 1953. Mrs. Marooney moved to Greeley with her family in 1982.Tribute: In April 1971, Carol married the love o f her life David. They had two wonderful children, Jason and Jennifer. They divorced in 1974. Time and true love brought them back together and they remarried on November 7, 1982. It was a love story words cannot describe. Carol loved cooking, baking and anything craft related. She was a master with needlework, knitting and crocheting. She was a bank teller by trade and loved people with all her heart. She had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met and never expected anything in return.Survivors: Carol is survived by her husband David, her son Jason and daughter Jennifer all of Greeley; her mother Dorothy Roussel, brothers Larry, Lewis, Robert, Charles and Doug; one grandson, Zachary, many nieces, nephews and loved ones.Memorial A private memorial will be held at a later time at the family home. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for contributions to be made to a charity of your choice.
