Carolyn Dill, 92 of Greeley, Colorado died on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Fairacres Manor Nursing Home in Greeley.
She was born on September 19, 1917 in Paul, Idaho to Jacob and Mary (Krumm) Gomer.
Carolyn earned her nursing degree from the University of Northern Colorado and worked as a nurse for Weld County General Hospital for many years.
She married John Dill on August 24, 1935 in Greeley. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Mrs. Dill is survived by her 2 daughters, Donna Rea of Greeley and Margaret Martin and her husband H.D. Martin of Corona, California; 6 grandchildren, Barbara Seifrit of Estes Park, Rick Schroth of Greeley, John Schroth of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Dave Schledewitz of Eaton, Steve Schledewitz of Pierce and Larry Schledewitz of Greeley; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters, Autumn and Ava Rettenberger of Estes Park. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Dill and a daughter, Carol Schledewitz.
A funeral service to celebrate Carolyn's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
