Christine Ann Schwarz, 57, of Mead, passed away on April 30, 2025.
She was born July 31, 1967, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Charles and Patricia (McManus) Illgen. She was a graduate of Regis High School and went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in science. She lived in Eau Claire, Wisconsin where she met her husband, Christopher Scott Schwarz. They were married in 2000. From 2003 until 2021 they lived in Madison, Wisconsin before moving to Mead, Colorado in 2021.
Christine worked for the VFW in Eau Claire, the Madison Public Library and was currently employed by Weld RE-1 North Valley Middle School where she taught 7th grade science.
Since moving to Colorado, she loved to show everyone Rocky Mountain National Park. She cherished her time working in her flower garden and growing plants. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed motorcycle trips and trips to Aruba. Her creative and giving side was evident when she helped others by giving food, especially her homemade Christmas cookies and by how she cared for her students. Her dogs, Stella, Daisy, Summer and a cat, Ernie were dear to her.
She is survived by her loved ones, friends and students who she cared deeply about.
A celebration of Christine's life will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.
