Cinnamon Wells, 29 of Greeley died on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born on April 20, 1979 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Paul and Christina (Head) Moeder. Cinnamon married Matthew Wells on August 10, 2002 in Windsor, Colorado. They had lived in the Greeley and Windsor areas until moving to Evans in 2004. She graduated from Valley High School in 1997 and later attended the University of Northern Colorado for 2 years. At the time of her passing she was attending Regency Cosmetology School in Ft. Collins. Mrs. Wells worked for the Weld County Assessor's office for 6 years before starting her own appraisal company; Unified Valuation earlier this summer. She attended Christ Community Church in Greeley and she was excited to volunteer to help teach the Tiny Tots group there. In high school she was a member of the FFA and she loved working with dairy cows when she was younger. She was active in sports and she enjoyed playing golf, racquetball and snowboarding. She also loved going to zoos and natural history museums. Survivors include her husband, Matthew Wells of Evans; her son, Jakobi Wells of Evans; her mother and step father, Tina and Ben Cobb of Windsor; her father, Paul Moeder of Humble, Texas; her brother, Bryce Moeder of Windsor; her grandparents, Muriel Moeder of Topeka, Kansas and Don and Shirley Head of Braman, Oklahoma; her step grandmother, Margaret Cobb of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 3 nieces, Averie, Brylie and Laynee and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Carl Moeder and step grandfather, Alfred Cobb. A funeral service to celebrate Cinnamon's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the Christ Community Church, 1301 15th Street in Greeley. Interment will follow in the Evans Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. Memorial gifts may be made to The Cinnamon Wells Memorial fund to be used for her son, Jakobi's future education.
