Clare (Marie) S. Foster, 81 of Greeley, died on Monday, March 17, 2008 at her home. She was born on July 3, 1926 in Denver, Colorado to Theodore T. and Minnie M. (Connelley) Steinhart. Clare married James E. (Eddie) Foster on April 18, 1949 in Denver, Colorado. They have lived in Greeley since 1969. She worked as a secretary for 19 years. Mrs. Foster enjoyed spending time with immediate family and her 21 grandchildren. She attended Grace Baptist Church in Greeley for many years and more recently attended the Evangelical Free Church of Eaton. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Eddie Foster of Greeley; 2 daughters, Dr. Valerie J. Foster of Arvada, Colorado and Janice M. Mossberg and her husband Randy of Greeley, Colorado; 5 sons, Dr. David A. Foster and his wife Cathy of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Dr. Edward J. Foster and his wife Laura of Anchorage, Alaska, Daniel T. Foster and his wife Teri of Eaton, Colorado, Donald J. Foster and his wife Sandy of Greeley and Dr. Steven K. Foster and his wife Cathy of Greeley, Colorado; 21 Grandchildren and a sister, Lucille Karuzas of Denver, Colorado. She is preceded in death by a sister, Helen Smith. A memorial service to celebrate Clare's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the Evangelical Free Church of Eaton, 1325 3rd Street.
