Clarence Dean Jacobson, 88 of Greeley, died August 21, 2010 at Bonell Good Samaritan Center, Greeley.
Clarence was born and raised in Britt, Iowa to Clarence Eugene and Cleo Valeria (Swaney) Jacobson on December 2, 1921. During WWII he served in the Army at Fort Warren, Wyoming. After the war he farmed in Minnesota, then moved to Colorado and worked for Mountain Bell. In retirement he enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending time with family.
He married Mary Anne Durler in 1955. They had three sons and later divorced. In 1978 he married Mary Torgerson.
Survivors are his brothers and sisters Virgil, Wayne, Helen Fredrick, Janet Rosenthal, and Jerry; son Larry (Nancy Tandon), Falmouth, MA; son Paul (Meg), Johnstown, CO; and granddaughter Nikohl Jacobson, of Falmouth.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Karl, granddaughter Kadee Jacobson, and his second wife.
Visitation will be from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Bonell Chapel, (708 22nd Street). Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Bonell. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
