Obituary

Clifford “Lonnie” L. Shultz, 70, of Greeley passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Hospice and Palliative Care.

Lonnie was born December 3, 1943 to Clifford and Jessie (Carroll) Shultz in Greeley. Lonnie was a self-employed carpenter, worked in construction and as a miner. In the late 60’s Lonnie worked on the Eisenhower Tunnel and Ruedi Dam. He enjoyed hunting, watching the Broncos, Duck Dynasty and NASCAR. Lonnie mostly enjoyed visiting with friends and family, especially with his grandchildren and enjoyed hearing the hunting stories from his nephews.

Lonnie is survived by his son, Rick (Carrie) of Greeley; daughters, Sandra (Gary) of Evans, Terrie (Matt) of Greeley; brothers, Claymen “Dutch” of South Dakota, Ray (Linda) of Wray; sister, Corrine (Tom) of San Antonio, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, brothers; Milton “Swede”, Lloyde, Gilbert, Sr., George, and Ron and sister; Virginia “Mae”.

Celebration of Lonnie’s life will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue, Evans.
