Beloved Mother and Grandmother Connie Salazar born in Powell Wyoming on March 23rd, 1931, former resident of Greeley Colorado, San Jose California, and Tucson Arizona peacefully joined her beloved husband Eugene Salazar in heaven on September 12th, 2017.

Connie spent her long life warming the hearts and souls of everyone she knew not only through her actions but through the love she put into her food. Her kitchen was always open to everyone and she was always ready to serve company her famous tortillas along with her “daily special”. Her nights were usually spent having fun playing Bingo with her family and friends and she always wanted Bingo cards with the number O-67. She was funny, strong, resilient, and sweet and she will be greatly missed by everyone.

Connie is survived by her three daughters Virginia Chacon and her husband Ruben, Mary Martinez, Betty Redoblado and her husband Jack, her grandchildren Tricia Trujillo, Paula Kindrick , Ruben Chacon, Michelle Martinez, Melanie Yco, Luke Chacon, Marina Redoblado, Alexandra Chacon, and Jace Redoblado, as well as ten Great Grandchildren and three Great Great Grandchildren.

Services to celebrate Connie’s life begin with visitation from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 520 Marion Avenue in Platteville. Private family interment will follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
