Craig Fries' Obituary
Craig Alan Fries, 56, of Greeley, passed away on October 5, 2022, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colorado.
He was born, October 25, 1965, to Marvin and Delores (Schwabauer) Fries in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He was a graduate of Uintah High School in Vernal, Utah in 1984, but most of his life was spent in Greeley.
He worked for Prima Oil & Gas and Petro Canada before starting his own oil consulting company, Ground Zero Pumping. Craig loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
He is survived by his parents, Marvin and Delores Fries of Greeley, a sister, Connie (Robert) Murray of Riverton, Wyoming, a nephew, Ryan Murray, nieces, Melissa Lane and Stefanie Caines, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at The Westside Baptist Church, 6260 W. 4th Street in Greeley with a funeral service following at 10:30 a.m. also at the church. Interment will be at Linn Grove Cemetery.
