Cruz Maria Martinez, 62, of Greeley, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Tru Hospice of Greeley.

She was born November 24, 1954 in Gilcrest, Colorado to Joe & Catarina (Torrez) Gonzales. She attended St. Mary Catholic Church. She was very involved with the Rodarte Center and served as their treasurer for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was a very loving sister.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony L. Gonzales of Evans, Jose “Joe” A. Martinez, Jr. of Greeley, and Apolinar “Polo” (Brandi) Martinez of Greeley, sisters, Ramona Martinez of Greeley, Alberta Rossman of LaSalle, Della Rangel of Evans, Marty Cabral of Denver, Porfie Harris of Evans, and Susan Diaz of Greeley, brothers, Joe P. Gonzales, Jr. of Evans, Phillip Torrez of Aurora, and Pete Gonzales of Greeley, grandchildren, Anthony Gonzales, Tayah K. Martinez, Braden J. Martinez, Aiden M. Martinez, and Sedona Rayne Martinez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Catarina Gonzales.

Recitation of the Rosary will be 11:00 a.m. on May 24, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Liturgy of the Word will follow at 11:30 a.m. also at the church.
