Cynthia Sue (Cindy) Spaedt, 53 of Evans, Colorado died on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at her home. She was born on November 30, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa to Jr. and Carol A. (Weaver) Fleming. Cindy graduated from Audubon High School in Audubon, Iowa in 1975. In 1992 she later graduated with a M.A. from St. Vrain Community College, Paddock Campus in Boulder, Colorado. She worked for North Colorado Family Medicine in Greeley for the past 7 years. She attended Christ Community Church and enjoyed gardening, her dogs and riding behind Willie on their Harley, cruising her 1973 Chevy pickup after getting her driver's license after 15 years of being afoot. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Willie Spaedt Jr. of Evans; her parents, Jr. & Carol Fleming of Audubon, Iowa; 2 daughters, Rachel Ann and son in law, Doug Willis of Evans and Tracy Anne of Greeley; 3 sons, Nicholas Alex of Fort Collins, Colorado, William Edward and James Chester both of Evans, Colorado; 3 sisters, Crystal Dawn of Omaha, Nebraska, Kelley Rae of Hamlin, Iowa and Kimberley Kae of Des Moines, Iowa and 6 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and a brother, Rex Allen. A memorial service to celebrate Cindy's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Christ Community Church (1301 15th Street) in Greeley.
