Obituary

Cynthia Kay Weeks, 73, died Saturday, May 7, at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado.

She was born December 21, 1948, in Goodland, Kansas to Carl and Alice Evon (Lewis) Frank. She spent most of her school age life in Fort Morgan, Colorado. She graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1966. Sometime after high school she attended community college in Sterling and later on in life attended and graduated from Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, WY with a Registered Nurse certificate.

After moving to Greeley, she married Boyd Weeks and later had their son Matthew.

She spent the majority of her life living in Greeley, CO. This is also where her nursing career began, first on the pediatric floor at Weld County General Hospital, later spending over 13 years on the telemetry floor at Northern Colorado Medical Center. She was proud to be a nurse and was honored to have helped so many people over her career.

She enjoyed spending precious time with her one and only granddaughter & son and her dogs, gardening, camping with friends & family. Kay was known for her amazing artistic ability including drawing, quilting, sewing and crafting.

Survivors are her son Matthew Weeks (Jamie Weeks) of Greeley, CO; a sister, Diann Ross of Goodland, KS; one grandchild, Hailee Weeks of Greeley, CO.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Weeks, her parents, and a brother-in-law.

A celebration of Cynthia's life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Avenue in Evans, Colorado.
