Dale Ruhe Weiscopf, 58, of Eaton, died on Monday, June 5, 2006 at the North Colorado Medical Center. He was born on October 10, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Albert L. and Georgia (Ruhe) Weiscopf. His family moved to Glendale, California from Indianapolis in 1964. He graduated from the Glendale High School in 1966 and later attended Glendale College for 2 years. Dale joined the U.S. Army in 1968 and served in Vietnam until 1970 and later the Army National Guard in Hawaii until 1980. During his time in the military he married Joyce Roberts on February 7, 1970 in California. He later lived in Hawaii and returned to California until 1998. He moved to Eaton in 1998 from California. Mr. Weiscopf worked at Agland from 1999 until 2006. Survivors include a daugher, Erin Puaala Weiscopf of California; a sister and her husband, Dixie and Joe Sellers of Ault; 2 brothers, John C. Weiscopf of Greeley and Alan L. Weiscopf and his wife Karen both of California; his former wife, Joyce Puamohala Weiscopf of Oahu, Hawaii; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Mary Powell and his other friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a step - mother, Laura Weiscopf. A memorial service to celebrate Dale's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Eaton First Baptist Church, 228 2nd Street. Cremation. Military Honors will be provided by the Eaton American Legion Post #26 at the church. The memorial service will be conducted by his brother Alan Weiscopf.
