Dan Morris Lee of Greeley passed away on February 11, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He died peacefully at home in the arms of his youngest son who had cared for him over the past several years.

Born in Carlisle Arkansas January 19, 1944 to Clara Mae Morris Lee and Thomas Watson Lee, Jr., Dan married his high school sweetheart, Wendy Louise Waite on February 1, 1964. Soon after their marriage, Dan was deployed to Viet Nam, where he served his country as a Navy Corpsman stationed with the Marine Corp.

Dan’s love of medicine and medical practice led him to a career as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He worked in the emergency room of NCMC and urgent care center of Greeley medical clinic, and taught courses at the University of Northern Colorado.
Dan is survived by his beloved wife, Wendy, two sons Jonathan of Cincinnati OH and Jeffery who resides in Greeley, Jonathan’s wife Jennifer and granddaughters Jalen Lee a violist in graduate school and Jordan who studies archeology.

Dan was loved by many as his personality was endearing. Above all, he held his love for Wendy and his entire family in the highest regard.
