Danny Lee Sawyers, 51 of Pierce, passed away at home on April 3, 2016.

Danny was born in Munchweiler, Germany on October 8, 1964 to Robert Lee, Jr. and Barbara Sue (Honeycutt) Sawyers. He was raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Ponca City High School in 1982. He went on to travel the country with many construction companies and finally settled in Loveland, Colorado, where he met and married Carole Ann (Smith) Sawyers on September 2, 1999.

Danny is survived by his wife Carole Ann (Smith) Sawyers; his daughter, Brittany Rochelle Lopez, her husband Avery Manual, and their children, Jason Avery and Carter Ramon Lopez, all of Colorado; his daughter Brandi Lynn Bennett, her husband, Dustin and their children, Brennan Page and Brooklyn Marie Bennett, all of Texas; his stepsons, Robert W. and Michael P. Griffiths; his father Robert Lee Sawyers, Jr., of Oklahoma; a sister, Shannon Sawyers of Oklahoma; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Sue (Honeycutt) Sawyers, a brother, Richard Sawyers, his grandparents, and some Aunts and Uncles.

A memorial service to celebrate Danny’s life is to be held Sunday, May 1, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Peak View Park, West 13th Street Road, Greeley, Colorado.
