David Orlando Benavides, 48, of Greeley, passed away on November 10, 2021, at his home in Greeley.

He was born September 6, 1973, in Greeley to Johnny and Victoria (Perez) Benavides. He was a graduate of University High School and went on to work as a hairstylist/barber for 21 years.

David enjoyed shooting at the range and listening to music; Ozomatli, Santana and War were some of his favorites.
He was a kind-hearted person who was always happy and cheerful towards others. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his nephews.

He was survived by his father, Johnny Benavides, a sister, Angelina (Alfredo) Barrera, Jr., and his nephews, Victor Garza and Noah Barrera.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria Perez.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd Street in Greeley with a Memorial Mass following at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Inurnment at Linn Grove Cemetery.
