David Irving Osborn's Obituary
David Irving Osborn, 76, of Eaton, passed away on July 17, 2023, at his home with family by his side.
He was born June 5, 1947, in Denver, Colorado to Wilson & Ina (Smith) Osborn. He grew up in Hudson, Colorado and graduated from Weld Central High School in 1965.
He married Barbara Smotherman January 29, 1966. They later divorced. He worked for the Colorado Department of Transportation from 1972 until he retired in 1999.
David enjoyed fishing, hunting, softball, Sturgis and competitive trap shooting. His pride and joy were his grandchildren. He lived his life the way he wanted.
He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda (Tony) Bennett, his grandchildren; Kyle (Amy) Bennett, Steven (Hannah) Lucero, Levi (Kristen) Bennett, Sierra (Pedro) Bennett, and Mic Bennett, his brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Osborn, a niece, Jennifer (Jon) Tjornehoj, a nephew Brian (Wendy) Osborn, and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson & Ina Osborn, and a daughter, Denise Lynn Osborn.
Per his request, no public service will be held. Contributions may be made in his name to the Weld County Humane Society, 1620 42nd Street, Evans, CO 80620.
