David E. Taylor, 42, of Greeley, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado. David was born October 21, 1971 to Ralph Roland and Mary Mae (Kinzie) Taylor in Haxtun, Colorado. David grew up in Holyoke, Colorado until he moved to Greeley in 1986. He graduated from Greeley Central High School. On August 23, 1997 he married Pamala Giesick in Greeley. David was a lover of life. He was an over the road trucker which satisfied his love of driving. It was a job he truly enjoyed. Even when not on the road, his passion for cars and motorcycles spilled over at home. Remote control cars were also a favorite. He was an artist that worked with wood and in airbrush painting. He enjoyed drawing as well. David is survived by his wife, Pamala Taylor, his mother, Mary Mae Taylor, his sons, Joseph and Michael, a daughter, Nikole, his brothers, Stan Whittaker, Terry Taylor, Mike Hardy, and John Taylor, his sisters, Arlene Yauk and Sunni Gayle Musick, 5 grandchildren, and 17 nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his dad, Ralph Taylor, a brother, Ben Taylor, sisters, Sina Craig and Dianna Harrison, and his father-in-law, Vern Giesick. A Celebration of David's life will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Greeley Wesleyan Church, 3600 W. 22nd Street in Greeley.
