Deana (Dee) Diane Burman, 61 of Ault, died on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Hospice care in Greeley.
She was born on November 17, 1949 in Adair, Iowa to Harry and Ellen (Thompson) Huff. She lived there until she was about eight. Moved to Greeley, CO where she graduated from Greeley Central in 1969, the same year that her son Scott was born. 35 years ago she married Charles "Chuck" Burman in Greeley. In her younger years, Dee attended Highland Hill beauty school and was a licensed cosmetologist. While attending UNC, Dee loved helping people, she worked at A Woman's Place and CDSI, now known as Envision. Dee was also a host home provider for the disabled, all while working towards her master's degree. Dee was awarded her masters in rehabilitation counseling from UNC in 1992. In her spare time she helped her husband with his store Burman's Clothing in Ault. Dee was a member of VFW ladies auxiliary, Pocahontas, and an elected member of Ault Town Board. These last 5 yrs, her health declined and Dee no longer was able to do the "caring", it was her loving husband Chuck that cared for her.....Dee gave her heart to everyone and will be truly missed.
She is survived by her Husband Charles "Chuck" Burman of Ault, her father Bob Huff of Greeley, her sons Scott Huff of Greeley, and Doug Burman of Ft. Collins, Grandchildren Ann Burman, Chad Burman, Doug Burman, Dakota and Tyler Huff, Jessie Beckwith Jr., Mark and Britanny Moffat. Brothers include Kermit Huff, Dana Huff, Harry Huff, Tim Huff and Ted Seih and Sister, Michelle Huff. Great Grandchildren Kale Burman, and her beloved dog Shawncey. She is preceded in death by her mother Ellen Huff, her son David Burman and her brother Mike Seih.
A memorial service to celebrate Dee's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Moser Funeral
