Deanna Hope (Jacoby) Haythorn of Eaton. Born to Harry and Ann (Sauter) Jacoby January 6, 1951 in Longmont, Colorado. She grew up in LaSalle and graduated from Valley High School in 1969. She married Roy Haythorn of Eaton in Greeley on February 20, 1970. Deanna devoted her life to raising their 3 children on the farm. Deanna loved her Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart and attended Eaton Methodist Church. She was also a member of PEO, Chapter AB and the Eaton Country Club where she enjoyed golf. She loved flower gardening, the mountains and watching her DVD's of "Little House on the Prairie" and "I Love Lucy." But her greatest joy was being "Nana" to her grandchildren that she loved so much. Deanna died June 15, 2009 and had suffered from syringomyelia the past 5 years but is now no longer in pain. Survived by her husband, Roy, of Eaton, 3 children and their spouses, all of Eaton, Joey Haythorn and Emily, Kellie (Haythorn) Lockey and Josh, and Riley Haythorn and Shasti. Five grandchildren Kortney Brooke, Chelsey Raegan, and Cole Bailey Lockey. Mitch J.D. and Crew Joseph Haythorn. Her mom, Ann (Sauter) Jacoby of LaSalle. A brother Harry Jacoby and wife Cheryl of Hampton, Iowa. A sister, Debi and husband Col. Norm Ham of Fayetteville, Georgia. Brother-in-law Perry Haythorn and wife Janet of Eaton. Mother-in-law Betty Haythorn. 4 aunts and 2 uncles, including a very special Aunt Darlene and Uncle Larry Ford of Henderson, Co. who grew up with Deanna, Harry and Debi. Four nieces, 4 nephews, many cousins, and so many wonderful friends. She is preceded in death by her father Harry Jacoby who passed away June 2008, infant sister Kathryn Eleana and all of her grandparents and father-in-law John Robert Haythorn. Donations may be made to the Eaton Methodist Church or the Weld County Veteran's Memorial, she had a special place in her heart for Veterans and the Military Services. They can be sent in care of Moser Funeral Service, 3501 S. 11th Avenue, Evans, Colorado 80620. A memorial service to celebrate Deanna's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19th at the Eaton Evangelical Free Church (1325 3rd Street). Inurnment at a later date in the Eaton Cemetery. Visitation from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel.
