Delores "Lola" Marquez, age 78, passed away June 29, 2022, after a long battle with dementia.

She was born on April 23, 1944, to Frank and Monica Serna. She was raised in Eaton, CO and later moved to Greeley, CO where she resided for the remainder of her life.

Delores was the beloved wife of Manuel Marquez Falcon who she married on October 28, 1972. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage later this year.

Much loved mother of Raymundo Serna, James (Cynthia) Serna, Christopher Serna, and Emily (Bobby) Gallegos. Cherished grandmother of Jaqueline Serna, Monica (John) Magadan, Christina Serna, Desiree (Juan Hernandez) Serna, Jerimiah Rodriguez, Audreena Gallegos, and Nina Serna. Great-grandmother of Tre Olmeda, Lyric Olmeda, Elias Velasquez, Javonn Magadan, Mya Hernandez, Malachi Magadan, Jae Hernandez, Benjamin Hernandez, Zane Magadan, Caedyn Serna, and Isabella Garcia. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Delores worked various production jobs throughout her life. She was also a caretaker and homemaker. She cared for her parents, raised 4 children, as well as 3 of her granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Her brothers Porferio Charlie Serna, Frank Serna Junior, Jim Serna, and sister Lovina Lopez. As well as her grandson Richard Garcia and great-granddaughter Alia Jae Hernandez.

Visitation will be held at Moser Funeral Home 3501 11th Ave Evans, CO 80620 on Wednesday July 13, 2022, from 4-5 p.m.. Service from 5-6 p.m. and recitation of rosary from 6-7 p.m. Reception to follow at The Moose Lodge 3456 11th Ave Evans, CO from 7-10 p.m.
