Mr. Dennis J. Sharp, 65, of Platteville, died on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit. He was born on May 22, 1941 in Powell, Wyoming to James W. and Olive Joyce (Campbell) Sharp. Dennis married Lenore L. Bell in 1959 in Roundup, Montana. They have lived in Platteville since 1971. He owned and operated Sharp Trucking and Sharp Shop in Platteville since 1968. Mr. Sharp enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren @ the ranch in Montana and he loved watching them race in motorcross races. Survivors include his wife, Lenore Sharp of Platteville; 2 sons, Brian Sharp of Platteville and Glen Sharp & his wife Kathy of Platteville; 4 grandchildren, Chad Sharp of Durango, Colorado, Christin Sharp of Ft. Collins, Nathan Sharp and his wife Suzelle of Evans and Brady Sharp of Platteville; 5 sisters, Pattie Boltz of Belgrade, Montana, Mitra Laura of Eugene, Oregon, Sue Sharp of Eugene, Oregon, Joyce Morgan of Salt Lake City, Utah and Megan Burke of Sheridan, Wyoming; 3 brothers, Terry Sharp of Castle Rock, Colorado, Mick Sharp of Hawaii and Tim Sharp of Greeley and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service to celebrate Dennis' life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Cremation. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming.
