Dennis G. Sparks, 72, of Evans, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Pathways Hospice in Fort Collins.
He was born February 17, 1950, to Robert & Lavar (McMahill) Sparks in Des Moines, Iowa. He moved with his family to Fort Collins in 1953 and graduated from Poudre Valley High School in 1968. He was called to serve in the Vietnam War from 1970-1972. He did so proudly.
Dennis loved working with his hands and was incredible craftsman. He did custom tile and stonework all over Northern Colorado. He enjoyed hotrods, muscle cars and automobile memorabilia. He counted many blessings in his life, but his greatest was the love he shared with his family and his furry companions whom he loved deeply. On December 14, 1998, he married another love of his life, Judith I Bennett. They have lived in Evans for 21 years.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Judith, his sons, Nathan and Shawn Sparks, and Shannon Parmley, a daughter, Amber Sparks Stultz, and a brother, Larry Sparks.
He was preceded by his parents, Robert & Lavar Sparks, and a brother, Bob Sparks.
A Celebration of Dennis' Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel in Evans, Colorado.
