Diane Sue (Buck) Johnson of Evans, Colorado went home to be with Jesus on Thursday November 16th 2017 surrounded by family. Diane was born in Delta, Colorado November 29, 1946.

Diane always had a passion for art, music, and teaching. She earned her teaching degree from the University of Northern Colorado and quickly found herself in the classroom. Diane taught hundreds of students in Gordon, Nebraska in choir and art classes. Diane decided to take her talents to St. Bernadette Catholic School in Lakewood, Colorado and most recently at St. Mary Catholic School in Greeley, Colorado. Diane opened up opportunities for students to experience the beauty of art and music in each classroom she taught in. Many of her students needed an angel in their lives and Diane was always there for them.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Hazel Buck, her sister, Connie Buck, and brother-in-law, Allen Sudduth.

Diane is survived by her three daughters, Tara Harris (James) of Torrington, Wyoming, Hilary Hartwig (Mark) of Evans, Colorado, and Blythe English (Monty) of Montrose, Colorado, Diane’s sister Mary Pat Sudduth of Arvada, Colorado. Diane loved her grandchildren Drake, Logan, Brock, Corbin, Gabrielle, Jackson, Xander, Cheyenne, and Zak. She is also remembered by nieces Holly Sudduth, Elizabeth Sudduth and nephew Perry Sudduth.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Avenue in Greeley. Interment following at Linn Grove Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church.
