Dolores Adame Mejia, 82, of Greeley, died on Sunday, December 10, 2006 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit. She was born on January 2, 1924 in Marlin, Texas to Fernando and Feliciana (Montez)Adame. Dolores married Pedro Mejia on January 6, 1940 in El Dorado, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2001. Mrs. Mejia moved to Greeley from El Dorado Texas in 2000. She was a member of the Catholic Church and of the Guadalupanas in El Dorado. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and watching television. Survivors include 7 daughters and their husbands, May and Harry Terrazas, Felis and Fernando Ibarra and Connie and Mateo Alvarez all of Greeley, Mary and Julio Ramirez of Houston, Texas, Lydia and Joel Rangel of El Dorado, Texas, Maria Mejia of Greeley, and Genoveva and Porfirio Arispe of El Dorado, Texas; 5 sons and their wives, Juan and Cecilia Mejia of Greeley, Daniel and Erminia Mejia of Eldorado, Fernando and Elena Mejia of El Dorado, Pete and Irene Mejia of Pasadena, Texas and Steve Mejia of Lakewood; 4 sisters, Julia Santellano and Lupe Adame both of El Dorado, Sofia Montez of South Houston, Texas and Cruz Adame of Carlsbad, Texas; 32 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Juan and Jesus Adame. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 915 12th Street. Interment will be in the Evans Cemetery. Recitation of Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at The Moser Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel.
