Donald D. Clark of Longmont, Colorado died peacefully Saturday, June 25, 2011 at his home with his wife by his side. He was born March 7, 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa to Dale L. and Frances F. (House) Clark. Don served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged September 8, 1954. He was proud to have served his country. Don married his childhood sweetheart, Shirley J. Bordenaro on February 6, 1955 in DesMoines, Iowa. Don dedicated his entire life to his family. Don worked for Cimino Distributing in Des Moines for 22 years. The couple moved to Colorado in 1979, where Don worked for and retired from Fibrotek in Longmont. Survivors include wife Shirley J. (Bordenaro) Clark of Longmont; 3 children; a son James D. Clark and his wife Janet (Book) of Ft. Collins, Colorado, a son Dale J. Clark and his wife Carol (Roth) of Des Moines, Iowa and a daughter, Traci J. (Clark) Yates and her husband Biff of Briggsdale, Colorado; 5 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, 3 Sisters and 1 Brother. He is preceded in death by his parents Dale and Frances Clark, and a brother Tom Clark. Family requests no service at this time, but a Tribute of Life will be held in his honor at the home of Jim and Janet Clark in Ft. Collins, Colorado on July 23, 2011 at 2:00 P.M.
