Donald Raymond "Snuffy" Smith, 89 of Greeley died on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit.
Tribute: Donald Raymond "Snuffy" Smith was born on September 26, 1919 in Seymour, Missouri to Martin and Martha (Justis) Smith. Donald moved to Colorado in 1933. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Donald then married Mary L. Luttrell. They later divorced.
Survivors: 1 son, Terry L. Dill of Greeley; 2 brothers, Connor of Greeley and Elsworth of San Diego, California; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Goldie and a brother, Martin.
Services: Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Gardens (3400 28th Street) in Greeley.
