Dorothy "Dotti" Mae Creaser

Dorothy “Dotti” Creaser, 75, of Pierce, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 27, 2020. She was born October 5, 1944 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Anthony & Dorothy (Heaney) Santino. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport in 1964 with a degree in Music. She married Charles Creaser on September 3, 1974. He passed in 2004. Dotti worked at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greeley as Director of Music and Liturgy. She loved working for God and worked for the Catholic Church for over 40 years. The following are the words to Dotti’s favorite song: You shall cross the barren desert, But you shall not die of thirst, You shall wander far in safety, Though you do not know the way, You shall speak your words to foreign men, And they will understand, You shall see the face of God and live, Be not afraid, I go before you always, Come, follow me and I will give you rest, If you pass through raging waters in the sea, You shall not drown, If you walk amid the burning flames, You shall not be harmed, If you stand before the power of hell, And death is at your side, Know that I am with you through it all, Be not afraid, I go before you always, Come, follow me and I will give you rest, And blessed are your poor, For the kingdom shall be theirs, Blest are you that weep and mourn, For one day you shall laugh, And if wicked men insult and hate you, All because of me, Blessed, blessed are you, Be not afraid, I go before you always, Come, follow me and I will give you rest She is survived by her children, Patrick (Dawn) Williams of Connecticut, Michelle Bailey of Virginia, and Dena (Brenda) Creaser of Colorado, grandchildren, David (Ashley) Arpin, Seth (Stephanie) Williams, Andrew Creaser, and Alyssa Walters, great grandchildren, Kendra, Madalyn, Brayden, and Ayvalee, a sister, Kathleen Santino of Massachusetts, and several cousins, and relatives living on the East Coast. She was preceded by her parents, Anthony & Dorothy Santino, her husband, Charles Creaser, 2 daughters, Cheryl Ann Williams, and Kelly Ann Creaser, grandparents, Anna & Joseph Santino, and Fedora and John Heaney. A celebration of Dotti’s life will be held Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 11:00-4:00 p.m. at her home, 43981 CR 29 in Pierce, Colorado. In the Spring, Dotti will be buried in Connecticut alongside her husband, Charles and her daughter, Kelly.
