Douglas Eugene "Doug" Seward II, of Hayden, Colorado formerly of Greeley died on Friday, November 10, 2006 as a result of a car accident near Belleview, Colorado. He was born on April 29, 1969 in Brush, Colorado to Douglas Eugene and Dian (DeLong) Seward. Doug married Angela Bradford on July 11, 1998 in Allenspark, Colorado. The couple have lived in Hayden since 2004. Doug graduated from Brush High School in 1987. Following graduation he moved to Greeley and attended Aims Community College and later earned his Bachelor's Degree in psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. He later attended and graduated from the Eaton Academy of Natural Therapy and also had earned his Acutherapy Certification. While attending college he worked for King Soopers. He also owned and operated Life Style Therapy which was located in the Conditioning Spa in Greeley and he later moved his practice to Steamboat Springs and Craig, Colorado. He also worked at the Yampa Valley Medical Center and the Steamboat Smokehouse. He was the Director of the Rocky Mountain Connection sports massage team. Doug recently participated in and finished the Steamboat Springs Triathlon which was a personal goal of his. Survivors include his wife, Angela B. Seward of Hayden; his mother and her husband, Dian & Larry Cox of Greeley and his father and his wife, Doug and Becky Seward of Golden. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret and Leonard DeLong. A memorial service to celebrate Doug's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the St. John's United Church of Christ education building, 3815 W. 20th Street in Greeley. A private family viewing was held. Graveside inurnment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Brush Cemetery.
