Rodney “Drew” Hansen of Greeley, beloved son, brother and friend passed into eternity Sunday February 28, 2016 at the young age of 24.
He was born March 24, 1991 in Greeley, Colorado. Drew attended and graduated from Greeley Central High School in 2009. He worked for Clear Water Products.
Drew loved music, animals, motorcycles, cars, and football, mainly the Minnesota Vikings. He loved spending time with his family and most of all his precious daughter. Drew was kind, generous, bright, thoughtful and sensitive.
His family is saddened that a life with such promise has ended so soon, although they find comfort in knowing he is now home with his Savior, Jesus Christ.
He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Kelly & Randy Baker and Brody & Elizabeth Hansen, his daughter Scarlett Rain Hansen, brothers, Blain and Hunter, sisters, Betty (Adam), Apolonia, Megan and Jordan, and his niece, Addy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Lynda Russell and Uncle, Rodney Russell.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. A funeral service to celebrate Drew’s life will be held on 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Journey Christian Church, 4754 W. 31st Street in Greeley, Colorado. A light luncheon will be held immediately after the service at the church.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Drew Hansen memorial fund for Scarlett’s college education in care of Moser Funeral Service.
