Obituary

Edgar Ralph Jameson, 79, of Greeley died on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the North Colorado Medical Center. He was born on April 11, 1928 to Ralph and Edith Jameson in a ranch house along the Dismal River outside of Thedford, Nebraska. Ed married Beatta P. Hauser on January 19, 1948.
Ed & Beatta shared a love affair that lasted over 59 years. Both shared a love of God and family, spending most of their married life in Colorado. When it came time to retire they decided to move back to their beloved sand hills of Nebraska where their history together began. During his career, Ed worked for Jefferson County schools, was a successful insurance agent with American National Insurance Company achieving the prestigious Million Dollar Roundtable and owned a chain of gas stations in the Denver metro area.
Always a loving father, he was quick with a smile and an outstretched hand to those who needed help. Friends remember him as a man who enjoyed a good belly laugh and a great joke. In younger years, Ed loved the outdoors and was an avid camper, fisherman and hunter. One of his favorite past times was watching rodeo events.
Ed was a member of Bethel Assembly of God church in Thedford, Nebraska and attended Broomfield Assembly of God church for many years where he served on the Board of Deacons. He also attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church after moving to Greeley in 2005. He always gave more than he took and he took less than what he deserved.
