Edna Natasha Benavides, 60, of Evans, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

She was born April 18, 1955 to Frank and Simona (Sandoval) Benavides in Sterling, Colorado. She resided in Longmont from 1981 until 1990 when she moved to Evans.

Edna loved playing bingo and poker with her family and friends and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

She is survived by her sons, Lucio & wife Cora Munoz, Jr. of Greeley, Colorado, Anthony Benavides (aka Bubba) of Sterling, Colorado, daughters; Tanessa & husband Dan Hernandez of Johnstown, Colorado and Felicia & husband Marcus Massiah of Loveland, Colorado, her brothers; Charles & wife Gerri Benavides of Ault, Colorado, Joe & wife Mary Benavides, of Greeley, Colorado, Greg Benavides of Ault, Mario Benavides of Greeley, and Sosten & wife Yvonne Benavides of Evans, Colorado, sisters; Reyes & husband Jesse Ramirez of Fort Morgan, Colorado, Margaret & husband Ernie Battelo of Greeley, Colorado and Gloria Benavides of Greeley, Colorado, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank Benavides and Simona Sardoval Benavides, a step-father Harry D. Overhiser, a brother, Valentino Benavides, and a sister, Irene Villalobos.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans, with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m., also at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel.
