Eduardo Melendez Alcantar, 28, of Gill, Colorado passed away May 30, 2024, at his home. He was born April 13, 1996, to Juana Alcantar and Ramon Melendez, in Denver, Colorado.

Eduardo grew up in the northern Colorado area and attended Platte Valley High School in Kersey. He later attained his commercial driver's license and has been employed in the transportation industry as a CDL driver for many years.

Eduardo had many interests, some of his favorites include collecting hot wheels, dancing, he was a lover of animals, and as a huge car enthusiast he was always putting his hands to work as a mechanic. Eduardo's most treasured past time was spending time with his family and friends, especially his children "Robertito" and Kehlany. His presence will be deeply missed by all those that knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Juana Alcantar Aguilar of Evans and Ramon Melendez Lopez of Denver; his son Liam "Robertito" Eduardo Melendez, daughter Kehlany Samira Melendez both of Dacono; his brothers Omar Melendez Alcantar, Carlos Alcantar, Rafael Alcantar all 3 of Evans, Dario Melendez, Ancelmo Melendez both of Denver; his sisters Pamela Melendez Alcantar of Evans, Adriana Sauceda and Mayra Melendez both of Mexico.

A visitation will be held from 4-7:00 p.m., Monday June 10, 2024, with a recitation of the rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. both at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel. A mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday June 11, 2024, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will be at Linn Grove Cemetery.
