Eleanor "Sis" Hochmiller, 78 of Hudson, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the North Colorado Medical Center. She was born on April 22, 1935 in Norwood, Colorado. Eleanor married John E. Hochmiller on August 12, 1956 in Denver. The couple moved to Hudson in 1977. Mrs. Hochmiller worked as the office manager for Allyn International for 36 years. After retiring in 1990 she went to work for the family business. Survivors include her husband, John E. Hochmiller; her son and his wife, John and Cynthia Hochmiller of LaSalle; her daughter and her husband, Jeri and Kameron Jacobs of Ogallala, Nebraska; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She is preceded in death by her mother and step father, Ruth and Jack O'brien, sister Pearl Nelson and brother Jack O'Brien. A memorial service to celebrate Sis' life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 225 S. 6th Street in Lasalle.
