Elizabeth "Betty" Elaine Anderson of Greeley died April 14, 2017, at the in-patient unit of Tru Hospice of Northern Colorado. She was born on May 11, 1927, in Ryder, N.D. to Rudolph and Anna (Hauge) Vangsness.
She grew up in North Dakota and later moved to Colorado in the 1950's. She married Clarence Anderson and together they had 7 children. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and taking care of her home. She was famous for her "buns" and family would often fight for the last roll.
Betty is survived by daughters, Jerilyn Everitt of Fort Collins, Joyann Swanson of Greeley and Kim (Alan) Cross of Tucson, Ariz.; sons, Kensley Anderson of Ault, Kevin Lee (Linda) Anderson of Eaton and Robert Anderson of Ault; brother, Darwin (Alice) Vangsness of Ryder, N.D.; sisters, Sharon Erickson of Minot, N.D. and Laurie (Gerald) Schmidt of Solen, N.D.; also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jean Lammers and Audrey Lafferty; son, Dean Anderson; and son-in-law, Albert Swanson.
The family would like to send a special Thank-You to the nursing staff and CNA's on the 4th floor of NCMC as well as the nursing staff, CNA's and Chaplain at Tru Hospice of Northern Colorado for their compassion and excellent care they provided.

Graveside services, 10 a.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Evans Cemetery, Highway 34 and 11th Ave., Evans.
