Elizabeth Ann Brockett, 57 of Greeley, died on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit. Born June 24, 1951 to Herman and Marie (Gerlock) Schweizer of La Junta, she resided in La Junta, through high school when she met Kenneth Brockett and married in August 1969. She moved to Greeley in 1972 with her family. Liz worked for Monfort of Colorado from 1975-1980. She also worked for NCMC in the 80's as a staffing secretary. She left there to become a homemaker and fell ill in the mid 90's. She battled illness for several years. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; son, Robert, and one grandson, Chance. Gifts may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America in lieu of flowers and may be sent to Moser Funeral Service, 3501 S. 11th Ave., Evans, Colorado 80620. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 28, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 3000 35th Ave., Greeley.
