Elizabeth Felte, 87 of Greeley, died on Friday, May 12, 2006 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit.
She was born on March 16, 1919 in Windsor to Henry and Elizabeth (Frank) Lind who both were Germans born in Russia. She graduated from Windsor High School.
Elizabeth married Carl Felte on February 8, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1980. The couple farmed in the Windsor-Severance area. During the many years they farmed she was active in numerous organizations. Mrs. Felte moved to Greeley in 1981. She was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Carla Robb of Boca Raton, Florida, Karen LeCuyer of Carlisle, Pennsylvania and Sandra Felte of Boulder, Colorado; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 Sisters, Mollie Rudd and Ruth Barsch both of Greeley. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by 4 brothers, H.F. "Barry" Lind, Paul Lind, Willie Lind and Edward Lind.
A funeral service to celebrate Elizabeth's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at the Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor, 1020 Walnut Avenue. Interment Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor. At Elizabeth's request there will be no visitation.
