Elvira Hernández Martínez, de 75 años, de Evans, Colorado, falleció el viernes 23 de abril de 2021 en su casa, rodeada de sus seres queridos.
Elvira nació el 25 de enero de 1946 de Rufina Martínez García e Isidro Hernández Fraire en Zacatecas, México. Conoció al amor de su vida, José Bernardo Jáquez Rodríguez, y los dos se casaron en 1964. Antes de convertirse en ama de casa, Elvira trabajó en la agricultura en su juventud, cuidando campos y cuidando animales de granja. Disfrutaba estar al aire libre y pasar tiempo con su familia, especialmente con sus nietos y bisnietos.
Le sobreviven su esposo José, sus hijos Félix Hernández y Efren Martínez García, sus hermanos Santos, Margaro, Jesús, Salomé, Marcelo e Isidro, sus hermanas Irene, Guadalupe y Dominga, 7 nietos y 10 bisnietos.
Le anteceden en la muerte sus padres, Rufina e Isidro, y sus hermanas Graciela y Aurelia.
El velorio será de 4 a 7:00 p.m., martes 4 de mayo de 2021 en Moser Funeral Home con el rezo del rosario a partir de las 6:00 p.m.

Elvira Hernandez Martinez, 75, of Evans, Colorado passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.
Elvira was born January 25, 1946 to Rufina Martinez Garcia and Isidro Hernandez Fraire in Zacatecas, Mexico. She met the love of her life, Jose Bernardo Jaquez Rodriguez and the two married in 1964. Prior to becoming a housewife, Elvira worked in agriculture in her younger years, tending to the fields as well as caring for farm animals. She enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Jose, her sons, Felix Hernandez and Efren Martinez Garcia, her brothers, Santos, Margaro, Jesús, Salome, Marcelo, and Isidro, her sisters, Irene, Guadalupe, and Dominga, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rufina and Isidro, and her sisters Graciela and Aurelia.
Visitation will be 4-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel with Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m.
