Erinea “Irene” Roybal, 84, of Greeley died Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Fair Acres Manor.

She was born April 9, 1933 in New Mexico to Miguel & Paulita (Gonzales) Roybal. On February 23, 1952, she married Carlos E. Roybal in New Mexico. They enjoyed 65 years of marriage, falling short of their 66th anniversary. She worked for District 6 as a cook and for La Cafeteria. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and the Women’s Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Carlos, her sons: Carlos F & wife Debbie, Alvin & wife Maria, Jerry & wife Valerie and Gene Roybal, her daughters, Mary Lou Gurule’ & husband Martin, Diana Trevino, and Henrietta Roybal, a brother, Luis Roybal & wife Connie, sisters, Josie Ybarra, Oralia Ortiz, and Flora Velasquez & husband Fred, a special sister-in-law, Deluvina Roybal, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded by her parents, a son Richard, a daughter, Magdalena Munoz, and 2 brothers, Ben & Isaias Roybal.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 4-7:00 p.m. with Recitation of Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue, Evans, CO. A Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 12, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd St, Greeley, CO
