Ethel Delores Vair, 100, of Sterling, Colorado formerly of Eaton, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Sterling Living Center in Sterling, Colorado.
She was born September 18, 1912 in Longmont, Colorado to Stephen H. and Kathryn Louise (Golden) Nosler
Mrs. Vair was a homemaker who lovingly took care of her family on their dairy farm in Arvada, CO, and later worked for Jolly Rancher Candy Company. They retired on son Clyde's farm near Ault. She spent the last four years with her grandson, Mike Vair and family in Sterling.
Ethel is survived by daughters-in law, Sharon McCargo Vair, and Donna Vair Behning; grandchildren; Mike Vair, Diane Vair- Grilley, Steve Vair, Scott Vair, Shannon Watson, Terri Vair, Cynthia Barber, and Holly DiChiaro; 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was proceeded in death by husband Clyde; sons, Clyde A., Stephen & Kenneth ; daughter- in- law Judith Hunter Vair; one great granddaughter; and five siblings of which she was the eldest.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
