Evan Eugene Martin, Jr., 76, of Charlotte, NC died Tuesday, March 29, 2022, with family at his brother, Willard P. Martin's home in Eaton, CO.

He was born April 2, 1945, in Scottsbluff, NE to Evan Eugene Martin and Dorothy Anne (Peck) Martin.

On March 19, 1965, he married Elaine Sandra Webster. They were married for 6 years and divorced. On June 20, 1975, he married Annie Hurley Martin. They were married for 17 years and divorced.

Mr. Martin graduated from high school in Eaton, in 1963 and attended Colorado State College (now the University of Northern Colorado).

Over the years Evan had a number of occupations but enjoyed his time working the golf course at the Pine Lake Country Club. He spent much of his retirement playing golf, competing in American Pool players Association (APA) pool tournaments, and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors are a sister, Ada Elizabeth Tomoyasu (Gary) of Colorado Springs, CO; a brother, Willard (Bill) Peck Martin of Eaton, CO; two daughters, Elizabeth Elaine Hornback (Michael) of Lancaster, NC, and Anne Frances Haynes (Joseph) of Statesville, NC; two sons, Evan Eugene Martin, III (Kimberly) of Culver City, CA, William (Bill) Hurley Martin (Kimberly S.) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; eight grandchildren Rebecca, Caleb, Jacqualin (Alex), Hayden, Katherine, Tess, Valor, and Tripp; and one great-granddaughter, Caroline. A sister, Zoe Anne Reinick, is deceased.

The graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2022, at Eaton Cemetery immediately followed by a post-funeral reception at Eaton Country Club.
