Farley “Jeanie” Nealey, 78, of Greeley passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Tru Hospice of Northern Colorado.
She was born June 19, 1939 to Julius Farley & Dixie Alma (Fischer) Musselwhite in Jacksonville, Texas. She spent time in Plains, Georgia and Rusk, Texas before moving to Greeley, Colorado. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church in Georgia. On August 27, 1961, she married Wendell Luke Nealey, Sr. Jeanie was proud to work for Monfort Transportation as one of the few early women truckers and was part of the “Monfort Left Lane Gang” Her petite frame made this even more amazing. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her family.
She is survived by her brother, Bobby (Lois) Wylie of Portland, Texas, her sons; Wendell (Angela) Nealey, Jr. of Plains, GA, Lorin (Kathy) King of Greeley, CO, James (Anne) Nealey of Loveland, CO and Jón Paul (Karen) Nealey, of Greeley, CO., numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded by her parents, Julius & Dixie Musselwhite, her husband, Wendell Nealey, Sr. and 17 brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
In lieu in flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Weld County Humane Society or Tru Hospice of Northern Colorado in care of Moser Funeral Service.
